News Corp.’s The Daily Just the Latest General Online News Failure
Back in February 2011, Apple and News Corp. made a lot of noise about their plans to revitalize the electronic publishing industry with the release of The Daily, the world’s first iPad-only newspaper.
The Daily would be an interactive, multimedia news experience, making news dynamic and alive. The fee was 99 cents for a week or $39.99 for a year.
