Chip Shot: Intel Wins 2012 CIO 100 Award
Intel won the 2012 CIO 100 award for its “Protect to Enable” information security strategy for the company’s “bring your own device to work” program. At the end of 2011, about 17,000 employees were participating in the program with Intel’s IT department predicting that 70 percent of the workforce will eventually participate.
