‘Independence Day’ Sequels Keeping Silly Title, Will Probably Be Probably 3-D

It turns out that the idea of calling the planned “Independence Day” sequels “ID4-Ever: Part I” and “Part II” had the emphasis on the “4-Ever.” In a new batch of interviews, director Roland Emmerich and producer Dean Devlin are apparently sticking with the titles Emmerich pitched to MTV News three years ago.
In an interview with German website Film Starts (via /Film), Emmerich said that the two sequels will be a package and will keep the LOL-worthy titles already announced. Didn’t he hear that colons are on the way out?
