Kristen Wiig, Tobey Maguire Join Will Ferrell’s ‘Spoils Of Babylon’ Miniseries

Tobey Maguire and Kristen Wiig are teaming up for the sake of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. The foursome will soon work together on the upcoming IFC six-part miniseries “The Spoils of War,” which is a spoof of sorts on stories like “The Thorn Birds” and ” Winds of War.” According to Deadline, “The Spoils of Babylon” chronicles “the sexy and dramatic lives of the Morehouse family who made their fortune in the oil business.” Wiig will play Cynthia, the daughter of oil magnate Jonas Morehouse. Maguire, on the other hand, will play Devon, the adopted son of Jonas.
