India Currency of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 pulled out of circulation immediately

Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 currency notes are now not legal tender. These are discontinued and void with immediate effect.

Starting today 9th November 2016 (09/11/2016).

Exchange your current cash in hand of Rs. 500/- and Rs. 1000/- from 10th November 2016 TO 30th December 2016 from any bank, you must carry your valid ID proof and your bank passbook.

This Rs. 500/- note bearing unique number becomes historical and unique.
