A journalist with a TV channel was severely injured, when he tried to stop the molestation of a girl by several allegedly drunk men at the local Milap Chowk area in Jalandhar.The incident happened around 5 pm on Monday, when several men came out of wedding party at a marriage
palace in Bhagat Singh Chowk area and started molesting the girl.
NDTV reporter Ashwani Malhotra tried to intervene, but he was beaten up. Some shopkeepers of the area also tried to stop the molestation, but they were also attacked, sources said.
