Adam Sandler To Go West With ‘Ridiculous 6’
Adam Sandler is going to be getting his spoof on in his next movie.
Deadline is reporting that Sandler is working on a comedy western for Paramount Pictures called “Ridiculous 6.” Though the plot hasn’t been announced, we can guess the direction the film is headed in based on its title. It might not be quite as catchy, but this film seems to be a riff off “The Magnificent Seven.” It will start shooting in April 2013.
That film, of course, is a remake of the Akira Kurosawa movie “Seven Samurai.” To speak generally, both projects follow a group of seven warriors (samurai in “Seven Samurai,”…
