After a few darker projects, Anne Hathaway just might be ready to laugh again. The actress has been attached to the Mindy Kaling-penned romantic comedy, “The Low Self-Esteem of Lizzie Gillespie.”
Hathaway is reportedly in talks to star as the lead in the film, which follows a woman with low self-esteem whose life changes when a really hot guy wants to date her. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kaling is likely to tackle a supporting role in the film, which she wrote with “The Office” co-writer Brent Forrester, who also wrote for “The Simpsons” and “King of the Hill.”
