Apple rolls out fix for iPhone 5 Wi-Fi network data bug

Despite promises of “ultrafast” speeds, some iPhone users have been experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues.

Less than two weeks after the release of iOS 6, Apple is apparently still working out the bugs.
Today the company released a fix for a bug that allowed some devices on Verizon Wireless’ network to consume cellular data while connected to a Wi-Fi network, unnecessarily depleting users’ precious data minutes.
Apple encourages Verizon users to complete the following instructions to install an update to address the problem:
