Davies dropped for ‘lack of form’

Surrey dropped their England wicketkeeper Steven Davies from the line-up for their current match against Nottinghamshire because of a “lack of form”, according to the club. His troubles are in no small part due to the passing of his friend and Surrey team-mate Tom Maynard, who died in an accident on the London underground in June.
