Diarra set to miss World Cup, French don’t call up replacement
French hopes of making it past the group stages at the World Cup have taken another blow today as new is reaching us that midfielder Lassana Diarra was ruled out of the tournament due to an intestinal problem.
The Real Madrid player complained of stomach pains while he was scaling a glacier at the national team’s training base in the French Alps on earlier this week.
