Facebook today made a few tweaks to its Messenger feature, allowing Android users to create an account with just their name and phone number.
After installing the app, users can click “Get Started” to reach contacts faster, start group conversations, share phones, and other features.
The company noted in a blog post that an update to Messenger is available today, and Messenger accounts will become available over the next few weeks.
