Heavy rain in Haryana sparks fears of flash floods

With heavy rain lashing northern parts of the country during the last 18 hours, low lying areas on the banks of Yamuna river are facing possibility of flash floods in Haryana even as 1.3 lakh cusecs of water was released from the Hathni Kund Barrage into the Yamuna on Wednesday.
