‘Iron Man 3’ Lights It Up At The Foreign Box Office

“Iron Man 3” is already a hit film, and it hasn’t shown on a single screen for U.S. audiences yet. That’s because Marvel’s follow-up to their mega-hit, “The Avengers,” opened early in dozens of foreign markets this past weekend and took in $195 million. To put that sum into perspective, “The Avengers” had only made $185 at this point last year.
Back in this country, however, things were much slower with the top grossing film of the weekend, Michael Bay’s “Pain & Gain,” only taking in $20 million. The crime comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson eked out…
