The rather vocal group of online J.J. Abrams haters might have a slight change of heart after reading what the fanboy director recently did to make one man’s dying wish come true.
It began nearly a week ago as a desperate plea for help on Reddit. One user, posting on behalf of cancer-stricken friend and his friend’s wife, put out a request to anyone who could help arrange a screening of the nine-minute prologue to “Star Trek Into Darkness” or the entire movie, if at all possible.
