Lippi drops Fabio Grosso and Antonio Candreva
Italy coach Marcello Lippi has dropped Fabio Grosso and Antonio Candreva from his World Cup squad ahead of a training camp this weekend and two warm up matches.
Grosso is a trusted Lippi lieutenant and his exclusion comes as a bit of a surprise while many didn’t expect Candreva to make the final 23 man squad, due to be announced on June 1st.
