With the recent news of “Metal Gear Solid” and Michael Fassbender’s looking-like-it-will-happen take on “Assassin’s Creed,” we could be entering into a new era of video game adaptations. Now another piece of news is sure to get gamers pumped for big screen potential.
Variety is reporting that the “Mass Effect” adaptation, being produced by Legendary Entertainment has brought on a new writer to take a crack at scripting the sci-fi epic. Morgan Davis Foehl will write a second version, after Mark Protosevich, who wrote “Thor and “I Am Legend,” made a first attempt.
