‘Pacific Rim’ Earns ‘Looper’ Director’s Endorsement
This year’s most highly anticipated science-fiction action film just got a ringing endorsement from the director of last year’s best science-fiction film action film, and that’s a very good thing.
“Looper” director Rian Johnson was lucky enough (the jerk!) to check out an early screening of “Pacific Rim,” Guillermo del Toro’s monsters-versus-robots awesome-fest scheduled for release this summer. In one tweet sent out on Saturday, Johnson succinctly caused us even more excitement than we already had.
