‘Red Dawn’ Clip: North Korea (Definitely Not China) Invades!
If you’ve seen the original 1984 “Red Dawn,” you probably know it as an over-the-top, darker-than-you’d-think anti-Commie wonder. The remake starring Josh Peck, Chris Hemsworth, and Adrianne Palicki sticks pretty close to the original set-up, but adds a more modern, more Michael Bay-inspired action aesthetic.
The first clip from “Red Dawn” demonstrates that perfectly, showing us the more explosive version of the North Korean invasion, which used to be a Chinese invasion until that no longer made sense economically.
