If you’ve been on a movie news site like Variety or The Hollywood Reporter in the last few months, you’ve undoubtedly seen one of those “For Your Consideration” ads that try really hard to make certain actors and films “award worthy,” as if you had a say.
Those ads are usually for respectable movies that actually do have a shot at their sought-after categories, but what about the ones you don’t see? The folks over at NextMovie have rounded up a collection of some of the lesser-known (and potentially not real) Oscar campaigns.
