Will ‘Die Hard 6’ Really Be Called ‘Die Hardest’?

Here’s a hefty rumor for your Tuesday afternoon: the upcoming sixth installment of the “Die Hard” franchise is being called “Die Hardest” — at least, for the time being.
According to Total Film, the working title for “Die Hard 6” is “Die Hardest.” The site reports that Ben Trebilcook, who wrote a treatment for “Die Hard 4” as well, is penning the “Die Hard 6” script.

Interestingly enough, the “Die Hard 4” spec script Trebilcook wrote was also reportedly called “Die Hardest,” so this could just be a placeholder title. The “Die Hard” franchise has gotten plenty of flak for its punny…
