Would you buy an Apple TV or (‘iTV’) for $99? (Ben Patterson)

Ben Patterson – Selling for a cool $229 — or more than some game consoles — the current, three-year-old Apple TV has (understandably) been something of a hard sell. Would a stripped-down, app-running $99 version of Apple’s video set-top box do the trick, especially considering the fierce competition?
