The first clip from “Star Trek Into Darkness” debuted today over at AOL, and the bottom line is that even at a little over a minute long, the preview manages to be highly “Star Trek”-y in an awesome kind of way.
The basic set-up for the clip should be familiar to anyone who was able to catch the extended preview before “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” last year. Kirk and Bones just narrowly escaped that cliff jump you’ve seen one million times in various trailers and previews.
